To access the Complete Issues site, click the link above. You will then be taken to the Moodle Home screen – click on the top right-hand corner of the page to log in with your college email and password. A page will then be displayed which contains a link to click to access Complete Issues, and below the link the Username and Password required to access the site are also displayed.

Access to a large range of online reference materials including journals, newspaper archives and e-books.
A range of databases from the National Library of Scotland. They cover many subject areas and include e-books, newspapers, journals, audio-visual resources and images. You need to register on the website to gain access to the resources.
An online magazine resource for people involved with early years’ education and childcare. Each edition contains an invaluable mix of news, expert advice and thought-provoking features, as well as analysis of policy developments across the sector.
VADS (Visual Arts Data Service)
An online resource for the visual arts comprising over 100,000 images which have been copyright cleared for use in learning and teaching in the UK.
Expert authors combine facts, analysis, new insights, and enthusiasm to offer concise and original introductions to a wide range of subjects.
The official body who are responsible for inspection of standards of care in Scotland, with information on inspection reports and professional guidance.

Website offering a collection of videos and other resources covering many subjects.

Different Minds – Autism awareness and understanding
A website created by the Scottish Government written in partnership with autistic people, providing guidance, factual information and personal experiences.
Early Learning and Childcare - National Induction Resource
A Scottish Government document outlining the framework for induction into Early Learning and Childcare as a career.
The website of the national body in Scotland for supporting quality and improvement in learning and teaching.
Insight Magazine
Children in Scotland’s membership publication, providing a space for inspiration, reflection, discussion and sharing of knowledge.
Inclusive Language Guide
Oxfam’s Inclusive Language Guide helps people think about how the way they write can subvert or inadvertently reinforce intersecting forms of inequality.
The language recommended is drawn from specialist organisations which provide advice on language preferred by marginalized people, groups and communities.
Site for delivering children and young people’s right to play in Scotland, offers toolkits and ideas.
Scottish Government - early learning and childcare practitioners: training modules
Free online modules available to all early learning and childcare (ELC) practitioners’ providers and open to all ELC workers.
NHS Scotland offer free accounts to everyone who helps provide health and social care in Scotland in conjunction with the NHS and Scottish Local Authorities. Students can register to access e-books, journals and databases.
