This resource provides detailed and medically-accurate 3D models of human anatomy and physiology. It is interactive and allows you to rotate the models, peel away layers and reconstruct to their original structure. There are activities such as online quizzes to test your knowledge.

The online version of the Donnellan Issues series that includes key facts, statistics and articles on a wide range of topical issues.
National Library of Scotland
A range of databases from the National Library of Scotland. They cover many subject areas and include e-books, newspapers, journals, audio-visual resources and images. You need to register on the website to gain access to the resources.
Very Short Introductions
Expert authors combine facts, analysis, new insights, and enthusiasm to offer concise and original introductions to a wide range of subjects.
The LLC has a collection of books, practice papers and e-books which may be relevant to your examination subjects, such as Mathematics, English, Spanish, Psychology, Human Biology and Creative Writing as well as books on planning essays, doing research and report writing.
All books on highers and nationals can be found in the LLC catalogue.
The LLC also has a range of ‘English for speakers of other languages (ESOL)’ books, as well as a selection of fiction books.

All students may borrow up to 6 items for up to 4 weeks. Loan periods may be extended if no one else has requested the items. Renewals can be made in person, by phone, email or via the catalogue. Items can be reserved through our 'Click and Collect' facility on the catalogue.
Multifunctional print devices are available in each campus LLC, for black and white and colour printing, photocopying and scanning to email, and students are provided with print credit automatically at the start of the semester.
Computers in the LLCs can be booked for personal study through the 'Book a PC' link at the very top of this page, or through the 'MyNCL' app.
